How is this different from a group chat?
In a group chat everyone sees everyone else's messages and replies. Relay delivers each message privately, one-on-one, across whichever channel each recipient uses. Replies come back to you in a structured digest — recipients never see each other.
How is this different from Mailchimp?
Mailchimp is built for email newsletters. Relay is built for real-time, multi-channel personal outreach: WhatsApp, Telegram, SMS, and Email in a single blast. The reply mechanic is also different — Relay collects actual replies, not just open rates.
How is this different from WhatsApp Business?
WhatsApp Business reaches one channel. Relay coordinates four channels simultaneously and brings replies into a unified view. It also handles contacts who are not on WhatsApp by routing them to SMS or Email automatically.
Do recipients see each other's numbers or replies?
No. Every message is delivered as a private one-on-one conversation. Recipients have no visibility into who else received the blast or what anyone else replied.
Which countries are supported for SMS?
SMS delivery currently supports US and Israeli numbers. Additional countries are on the roadmap. Email and WhatsApp/Telegram work globally.
Is there a throttle or rate limit on sends?
Relay spaces delivery to stay within channel rate limits and avoid spam detection. Most blasts of under 200 recipients complete within a few minutes. Large volumes are queued and processed in order.
Can the agent reply on my behalf?
Not yet. Relay collects and summarizes replies — it does not auto-respond. An optional auto-reply mode is on the roadmap for structured Q&A flows.
Is this compliant with WhatsApp's Terms of Service?
Relay uses a personal-account bridge for the default setup. This is fine for personal and small-team use, but WhatsApp's ToS restricts bulk messaging on personal accounts. For production-scale volume, we recommend connecting your own WhatsApp Business API number. Relay supports BYO credentials.
Where is data stored?
Contact lists and message payloads are stored on servers in the EU. Lists are retained only while your account is active. Reply payloads are redacted after 90 days. See the Privacy page for the full retention schedule.
How do I cancel?
Cancel anytime from your account settings. Prorated refunds are available within 7 days of an upgrade. There is no lock-in and no cancellation fee.
